The history-steeped Williamsburg neighborhood is popularly known for its rich cultural heritage, a thriving art scene, and electric shops that resemble those found in Manhattan. The neighborhood is also home to a wide range of middle- and working-class residential properties that house well over 70,000 residents. Being one of the most popular suburban communities in Brooklyn, Williamsburg has given birth to a long list of famous people including politicians, musicians, actors and actresses, professional athletes, and television personalities. Sidney Luckman

Luckman, popularly known as Sid Luckman, was a sensational footballer for the Chicago Bears for 12 straight seasons between 1939 and 1950. Having led the Bears to four non-consecutive NFL championships, he is considered as one of the greatest quarterbacks of his time.

Luckman was born and raised in Williamsburg before his family relocated to the nearby Flatbush neighborhood. Apart from winning several major awards for his outstanding sportsmanship, Luckman was inducted into four different halls of fame between 1960 and 2006. He died in 1998 in his Florida home.

Peter Hayden Dinklage

A native of Morristown, New Jersey, Dinklage is an award-winning actor who has starred in several top-selling films including Elf, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and  Avengers: Infinity War just to mention a few. However, most people consider his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister in the recently concluded Game of Thrones fantasy drama as his best work. Before becoming a mainstream actor, Dinklage briefly lived in Williamsburg, NY.

Winona Laura Horowitz

Popularly known as Winona Ryder, Horowitz is an accomplished actress who won a Golden Globe Award for her befitting role as May Welland in The Age of Innocence film. She has also featured in over a dozen other high profile films including the likes of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Alien Resurrection and Star Trek. She currently stars as Joyce Byers in the film Stranger Things, a role that earned her a nomination for a second Golden Globe Award. During the filming of The Age of Innocence in New York City, Horowitz stayed in Williamsburg.
