Sidney Luckman
Luckman, popularly known as Sid Luckman, was a sensational footballer for the Chicago Bears for 12 straight seasons between 1939 and 1950. Having led the Bears to four non-consecutive NFL championships, he is considered as one of the greatest quarterbacks of his time.
Luckman was born and raised in Williamsburg before his family relocated to the nearby Flatbush neighborhood. Apart from winning several major awards for his outstanding sportsmanship, Luckman was inducted into four different halls of fame between 1960 and 2006. He died in 1998 in his Florida home.
Peter Hayden Dinklage
